Embroidered patches use thread stitched onto a base fabric to create texture. They suit logos, crests and lettering with clear shapes. Fine lines and small text may need simplifying at smaller sizes; check the artwork proof before approving production.

Woven patches use a finer woven construction for detailed line work and smaller lettering. Compare woven and embroidered options using the same finished size so you can judge which finish best suits your artwork.

Chenille patches have a soft, raised yarn surface associated with varsity-style lettering. Raised embroidery provides a different dimensional effect. Choose by the finish you want and the options shown on the individual product, rather than assuming every construction supports the same detail or backing.
