What is the minimum order?
You can order from 25 pieces of Bullion Patches. Larger quantities lower the price per patch.
How is my price worked out?
The price comes from the average of the width and height you enter, rounded up to the next half inch, and the quantity you order.
Which backings can I choose?
You can choose plain backing or iron-on backing. Plain backing is included. Any extra cost for the others shows when you select them.
Which backing holds best?
Sewing it on is the most secure option and lasts through regular washing. Iron-on is quick for cotton and polyester, but avoid it on nylon, leather and waterproof fabrics.
Which shapes and sizes can I order?
Sizes from 2″ to 12″. You can pick from 39 shapes, or choose Custom shape to have it cut to the outline of your artwork.
Can I choose the colours?
Yes. We match the colours to your artwork. If you have Pantone (PMS) colours, add them in the instructions box.
Are there any design limits?
Most designs can be made. If a detail is too small or thin for this method, we will adjust it and show you the change on your proof before production starts.
Which artwork files can I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) reproduce best. High resolution PNG or JPG files also work.
What if my artwork is not ready yet?
Choose Email later and send your artwork after you order, or choose Get design help and tell us your idea. Production only starts once you approve the artwork.
Do I see a proof first?
Yes. A digital proof is sent for you to check. You can also add a photo sample of the real patch.
Can I see a real sample before production?
Yes. You can ask for a photo of your actual item before we make the full order. The extra cost is shown next to the option.
What extras can I add?
You can add an individual polybag for each piece.
How long does production take?
You choose this at the last step. The standard option is ready to ship in 12 working days at no extra cost. Faster options from 5 working days cost more, and a slower option costs less. The date shown is when your order is ready to ship, not when it arrives.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free to UK addresses.
How do I care for my patches?
Wash inside out on a cool cycle and avoid tumble drying. If an edge lifts, a few stitches around the edge will hold it in place.
