Custom Iron On Patches
Custom iron on patches are the quickest way to put your logo on clothing. Each patch has a heat activated adhesive layer on the back, so you can press it onto a jacket, hoodie, t shirt, jeans or bag in seconds with a heat press or a household iron. No sewing is needed.
We make iron on patches in embroidered, woven, printed, chenille, PVC, leather and silicone styles, all made to your artwork, with a free digital proof before production.

Prefer no backing at all? Every style also comes with plain backing for sewing, and many offer Velcro backing too.
How to iron on a patch
- Wash and dry the garment first, without fabric softener.
- Place the patch where you want it, adhesive side down.
- Cover it with a thin cotton cloth to protect the patch.
- Press firmly with a heat press or a hot iron with no steam. Do not slide the iron around.
- Turn the garment inside out and press the back of the area too.
- Let it cool fully before you move or wear it.
Every order comes with application instructions for your patch type. Our full guide on how to iron on patches covers heat press settings and common mistakes.
Which fabrics work best
Iron on backing works best on cotton, denim and polyester blends that can take heat. Avoid nylon, leather, waterproof and very stretchy fabrics, because the heat can damage them or the glue will not bond. For caps, curved surfaces and items that are washed often, sewing or Velcro gives a stronger hold. See patch backing types explained to compare.
Making them last
Wash inside out on a cool cycle and avoid tumble drying. If an edge starts to lift, press it again, or add a few stitches around the border for a permanent fix.
How to order

Frequently asked questions
Do iron on patches stay on?
Yes, when they are pressed with enough heat and pressure on a suitable fabric. For items that are washed very often, add a few stitches around the edge or choose sew on backing.
Can I iron on a patch with a household iron?
Yes. Use the cotton setting with no steam, press through a thin cloth, and hold the iron still with firm pressure. A heat press gives the most even result.
Can I iron patches onto a hat?
It is not ideal. A curved crown does not get flat, even heat. Sew on or Velcro backing is better for caps. See our hat patches page.
Can iron on patches go on nylon or leather?
No. The heat can melt nylon and mark leather. Choose sew on or Velcro backing for those materials.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on the style: from 5 pieces for PVC and leather, 10 for embroidered and woven, and 25 for printed patches.
