Artwork Guide
Send the best-quality original file you have and tell us the finished patch size. Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG files are preferred for logos and scalable line art. A clear, high-resolution PNG or JPG may work for some products; we will review it and tell you if it needs improvement.
Which artwork file should I send?
Use an original vector file for a logo or line drawing when one is available. For photographic artwork, send the highest-quality original image you have. Enlarging a small image does not recover missing detail. Check the upload field on your chosen product for its accepted formats and file-size limit.
What should I include with my artwork?
- Confirm that you own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it.
- Provide the finished width and height, quantity and intended use.
- Specify the preferred patch construction, backing and placement.
- Include colour references if matching a brand colour matters.
- Tell us the delivery destination and any essential deadline before ordering.
Will my design suit embroidery, weaving or printing?
Embroidery creates a textured stitched finish, but fine lettering and thin lines may need simplifying at smaller sizes. Woven patches suit finer line work and smaller lettering, while printed patches suit gradients and photographic detail. Compare the patch constructions and send your artwork for review if you are unsure.
Embroidery may require digitising. We will identify any setup charge before an order is accepted; do not assume every file can go straight into production.
What if I only have a small or unclear image?
Send the best original you have and include the intended finished size. We will check whether the artwork is usable or whether a clearer file or revised design is needed. Use the send-later or design-help option where it is offered on the product page.
What should I check on my proof?
Check spelling, dimensions, colours, shape and placement before approving production. A digital proof is not always an exact physical colour or material sample. Read the Artwork Proof Process and request clarification before approval if a detail is important to your order.
See the Personalisation & Artwork Policy for artwork permissions and approval terms.
