Product Care Guide
Care starts with the material and attachment
Follow the care instructions supplied with the finished item and, for patches attached to clothing, the garment’s own care label. Materials, threads, adhesives and backing types can need different treatment. If those instructions conflict, ask us before washing or applying heat.
Sewn-on patches
Check stitching and edges before cleaning. Do not pull or scrub the decoration. Use the gentlest cleaning method compatible with the base garment and allow it to dry as its care label directs.
Heat-applied and adhesive patches
Confirm that the base fabric can safely take the heat and pressure required for the specific backing. Test on an inconspicuous area where practical. Do not apply heat directly to a decorated face or use an iron-on method for a backing that was not supplied for that purpose. Follow any application instructions provided with your order.
Printed, leather and specialist finishes
Avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged soaking, abrasive cleaning and direct heat unless the product-specific instructions permit them. These can affect colour, texture, adhesive or shape. For product-specific care or a damaged item, email [email protected] with the order number and a photo if helpful.
